The Growth Hub Empowers Ondo State NYSC Corpers

Mr. Olatunde Victor Adeoluwa addressing Camp officials and corps members.

The Growth Hub, driven by its unwavering commitment to develop tech innovations, incubate and accelerate businesses as well as train Nigerian youths with tech skills, took a remarkable step by partnering and supporting the Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) program at the Batch C NYSC Orientation Camp in Ikare Akoko, Ondo State, which consisted of both Ondo state and Lagos state corps members. The event, which took place on the 25th of November, 2025, brought together all camp officials, including the State Coordinator, Camp Director, Head of SAED, the Camp commandant, NYSC officials, and other SAED trainers. The initiative to support the SAED program in Ondo State reflects The Growth Hub’s mission to equip young people with practical tech skills, entrepreneurial knowledge, and access to opportunities that can shape their future long after their NYSC service.

During the flag-off event, as a Proud sponsor, the CEO of The Growth Hub, Mr. Olatunde Victor Adeoluwa, engaged close to 2,000 NYSC corps members in an insightful discussion about the numerous career opportunities available in the tech space. He emphasized the importance of acquiring skills early, using his own journey as a good example. Before graduating from the university, he had already mastered a total of 17 different hard and technical skills, including Photography, graphic design, web development, computer engineering, and data analysis, among others. His story left everyone in awe and inspired corps members to take skill acquisition seriously.

He also spoke about the value of applying for business grants and how such opportunities can significantly support and expand a growing business. Sharing from his own experience, he mentioned that he has won five business grants in the span of his career, a testament to the importance of acquiring knowledge and growth, while encouraging the corps members to take advantage of The Growth Hub’s FREE 5-Day business Accelerator Program available on the Hub’s YouTube channel to learn about Business Creation, development, finance, operations and ultimately, how to create pitch decks, apply for grants and win.  This is expected to be a major self-paced business or startup Incubator for them, while they could also get support and mentorship from experts at the hub.

In addition to the lecture, The Growth Hub extended a generous gesture by offering corps members access to free career growth resources, discounted tech training programs, making it easier for them to acquire in-demand digital skills. These training opportunities cover fields such as Web Development, Data Analysis, UI/UX design, Product Management, Cybersecurity, AI and Machine learning, Digital Marketing, Human Resource Management, and other tech-driven skills that can boost employability and support entrepreneurship.

The Corpers were invited to join the Growth Hub NYSC Community and its other knowledge platforms by sending a request to the official line or visiting the company website at www.thegrowthhub.africa.

In turn, there was a positive response from the corps members, as many indicated interest in acquiring several tech skills. The Officials of the NSYC were also appreciative of this partnership. This was made known by the Ondo State NYSC State Coordinator, Mrs. Kuburat Bakare, and the Head SAED, Mrs. Dawodu, who both passionately encouraged the corps members to focus, pay attention, and explore every entrepreneurial and financial opportunity coming their way from partner organizations, SAED trainers, and the Government.

The Growth Hub, reaffirming its commitment to innovation and development, will continue to engage the NYSC corps members in Ondo State and replicate such an impactful initiative across other states in Nigeria.
